Classic City Literacy
AboutReading difficulties can disrupt your child’s education. We provide literacy instruction to help your child overcome reading and writing struggles and thrive as a learner.
Our Story
“I started my teaching journey in 2012 soon after graduating from college. As an elementary teacher, I struggled to meet the needs of dyslexic students within the structure of a traditional classroom. I looked for ways to support these learners and eventually found the Orton-Gillingham approach to literacy, which is designed to help students with reading struggles or disabilities. I trained in the OG approach and started Classic City Literacy because I wanted to see struggling readers experience success in reading and writing.”
